This is a stunning velvet hybrid of philodendron verrucosum and philodendron melanochrysum. The red abaxial and textured stem from the verrucosum, along with the deep-green velvet colouring from the melanochrysum create this perfect heart-shaped philodendron. A must have for plant collectors!

This plant is a climber, and thrives by growing up trees in nature. Giving your Splendid a totem, or moss pole will allow it to attach roots, and form bigger leaves as a result.
